If you’ve ever gone on Facebook and seen posts from a brand you follow or searched something on Google and seen ads relevant to that search pop up, that’s digital marketing! Digital marketers are responsible for connecting a brand with current or prospective customers in digital channels such as search engines, social media, email, and other websites.

Real-World Experience
What good is all this knowledge if you can’t apply it? By the end of this program, you will be prepared to complete the Google Analytics IQ and Facebook Blueprint Certifications.

Applying to a Generation USA Program
- 1Determine Your Program EligibilityThis step helps us determine your eligibility to participate in a program and assign you to a dedicated Enrollment Coach! All Generation Learners must:
- Live in the U.S.A.
- Have earned a high school diploma or GED
- Be 18 years or older
- Be available for the mandatory class dates and times
- 2Tell Us About YourselfWe’ll ask you some simple questions to better understand who you are, your interests and how we can best support you.
- 3Assessments ** This step is only applicable for certain programs. Our assessments will gauge the skills and logic required by some of our programs to ensure you are positioned to succeed from Day 1!VIEW SAMPLE QUESTIONS
- 4Getting to Know YouOnce we determine your eligibility, we’ll redirect you to a third-party platform, HireVue, to complete a video interview. This stage helps us get an even better sense of who you are and why you are interested in joining Generation.
- 5Admissions Team ReviewYour dedicated Enrollment Coach will review your application materials within 5 business days to help make an admissions decision and set up additional time to dig deeper, if necessary.
- 6Your Cohort SelectionOnce admitted to Generation USA, you will be able to save your seat in one of our upcoming programs. You can view a list of active programs below and will be prompted to select a first and second choice for your enrollment decision.
- 7Complete this last step…Almost there! To finalize your enrollment and reserve your spot in your chosen cohort, you must complete our learner data form. This step helps us direct you toward the support you’ll need most to be successful and does NOT affect your admissions decision.
Prospective Learner Code of Conduct
Be Professional, Compassionate and Adaptive
As part of your participation in a Generation USA program (including requesting more information, inquiries and application process), you promise to:
Act professionally and respectfully toward everyone you may encounter while part of the process; behaviors or language deemed as unprofessional and in violation of stated harassment policies can result in immediate rejection from further consideration for a Generation USA program.
Dress appropriately for the video interview- as a general guideline, wear clothing that you would wear to in-person events.
Ask for help when needed.
Work hard to display and maintain a positive attitude, even when the work becomes challenging.
Challenge yourself to think about how your actions fit into your individual long-term goals.
Be flexible and willing to try new things.
Provide and be open to receiving positive and constructive feedback.
Be open to opportunities to give back to Generation by mentoring other Generation participants after I graduate, volunteering at Generation events, or helping in some other way.
Safe and Professional Behavior
Any learner exhibiting behavior or language that is deemed by Generation USA staff as unprofessional or unsafe may be subject to immediate rejection from consideration for a program, and if so, will not be allowed to re-apply to any future Generation programs. Behaviors and language that are unacceptable and may be reason for rejection include but are not limited to:
Verbally threatening any other person in any way (via Zoom, Text, or Email). Repeated argumentative behavior towards staff.
Disrespecting any staff member.
Repeatedly arriving late or missing required scheduled sessions.
Repeatedly failing to complete assigned work.
Disorderly conduct. This is generally defined as any action by the prospective learner that impairs, interferes, disrupts and distracts from the applicant or learning process.
Prohibited unlawful harassment based upon sex (gender or pregnancy), or other protected characteristics (age, race, national origin, etc.) includes – but is not limited to – the following behavior:
Verbal conduct such as epithets, derogatory jokes or comments, slurs or unwanted sexual advances, invitations or comments;
Visual conduct such as derogatory and/or sexually oriented posters, photography, cartoons, drawings or gestures;
Physical conduct such as assault, unwanted touching, blocking normal movement or interfering with work because of sex, race or any other protected basis;
Threats and demands to submit to sexual requests as a condition of continued employment, or to avoid some other loss, and offers of employment benefits in return for sexual favors; and
Retaliation for having reported or threatened to report harassment.
