Pronouns: Words that substitute for nouns and refer to specific people, places, or things. Examples: I, he, she, it, they.

Adjectives: Words that modify nouns or pronouns, describing their qualities or characteristics. Examples: tall, beautiful, happy, blue.

Verbs: Words that express actions, states, or occurrences. Examples: run, is, have, think.

Adverbs: Words that modify verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs, expressing manner, time, degree, etc. Examples: quickly, well, very, tomorrow.

Prepositions: Words that show relationships between nouns or pronouns and other words in a sentence. Examples: in, on, under, with.
