How to Register as Facebook Journalist Page
Benefits of journalist registration

At a minimum, registered journalists get stronger security features that further protect their Facebook and Instagram accounts against harassment, impersonation and potential hacking threats. As a registered journalist, you might also be eligible to receive blue badge verification to let people know that your account has been verified. Learn more about blue badge verification.
Registration is voluntary, and journalists must opt in to receive these benefits.
Note: Blue badge verification is a separate process from journalist registration. Access to Journalist registration doesn’t guarantee that you’ll receive blue badge verification.
To be considered for blue badge verification, you must provide links to five news articles that you’re listed as an author or contributor for, or a link to your biography on a staff directory page. All of these links must match the domain of a news organization that’s registered as a news Page with Facebook.
