Maulvi Alauddin Haider was the revolutionary of the freedom fight 1857.
Haider was born in 1824 E• in Nalgonda district of Telangana state.
He learned in Islamic ways.
After completion of education he became Imam of Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad.
Zamidar Cheda Khan was arrested by the British administration during the Gadar of 1857 and locked up in the Hyderabad Residency building. This made the people of Hyderabad furious.
#Turram_Khan and Maulvi Alauddin together started planning to attack Hyderabad Residency building. Which they executed on time.
On 17th July 1857 after Namaz, Maulvi Alauddin along with his friend Turram Khan and others raided the Hyderabad Residency Building.
Maulvi Alauddin was arrested and sentenced to Andaman Nicobar (Cellular Jail) for the crime of attack.
He was in cellular prison for almost 30 years and died there.
